PRICING

Public Safety Enterprises’ (PSE) labor rate for 2026 is $135.00 per hour, with a 4-hour minimum, for any automotive and/or electronic work. This includes installations, repairs, and removal/replacement of any parts or units. PSE will charge a travel per diem of $250.00 per day/night for lodging accommodations and food expenses while performing work outside of Rockwall, Texas (unless other arrangements have been agreed upon between PSE and the client).

A 10% charge of total labor on installations and repairs will be added to all invoices to cover miscellaneous material (wire, connectors, terminals, chemicals, small hardware, loom, etc.). All other parts, materials, and shipping are extra. A 3.5% processing fee will be added to each invoice for customers who choose to use a credit card for any PSE service. Invoices not paid in full within fifteen (15) days will be subject to a ten percent (10%) late fee and a three percent (3%) per month interest fee.

All installation and repair work is by appointment only. PSE will make every effort to schedule and perform repair work within seven (7) days based on urgency. Installations are scheduled according to availability and can vary from 1 to 4 weeks. Additional time may be required for equipment and/or parts that are ordered from manufacturers depending on product demand, availability, assembly time, and shipping.

All service and installation work will be completed either on-site (customer’s location) or in Rockwall, TX, depending on the type of work performed and the length of the installation. A $60.00 each-way minimum service call/trip charge (per day) will apply to all work performed outside of Rockwall, TX (see service call charges below), unless otherwise agreed upon in advance prior to any work performed.

PSE reserves the right to charge these service call charges on certain warranty work. These charges also apply to the pick-up and delivery of a vehicle by a PSE employee unless other arrangements have been made. All vehicles picked up and delivered by PSE will be vacuumed and washed upon return (included with a minimum service call charge). PSE will warranty its installation and service work from defects in workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the delivery date. PSE will honor manufacturer warranties only on products invoiced or sold by PSE. This may require removal of the unit, returning it to the factory for repair, and then reinstalling the unit when it is returned to us. Most manufacturer warranties DO NOT cover labor costs to remove and replace warranty parts or items, which will result in PSE charging the customer for these labor costs. PSE will not be responsible for any used or recycled equipment that is brought to us by the customer for installation. It is assumed that all equipment, new or used, is in good working condition. For a nominal charge, PSE can check this equipment and advise on its condition before work on a vehicle begins. The above warranties do not apply to defects caused by accident, misuse, neglect, liquid damage, or normal wear and tear. These warranties do not apply to equipment where alterations or repairs have been executed without PSE’s knowledge or consent.

PSE will not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental loss or damage arising out of the use or inability to use the products selected. PSE is not liable for the selection of appropriate equipment or product type required for a particular application or service.

PSE considers normal business hours as Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Urgent calls on weekends, holidays, or after normal business hours will be billed at time and a half ($202.50 per hour) with a 4-hour minimum. Service call charges are based on the PSE shop location closest to the customer. PSE’s shop is located at 2113 Grover Lane in Rockwall, TX 75087, and all mileage charges are incurred from that location (unless otherwise indicated by PSE).

This replaces all previously published service and installation policies, effective January 1, 2026, or prior. Prices are subject to change without notice.

More than 125 miles will be charged at $2.50 per mile, or travel and lodging plus 10%, whichever is greater.
